Erez Nataf music combining song writing, world music, North African groove, with a wink to the expanses of jazz , contemporary and alternative music.He plays an ancient stringed instruments such as :Oud and Saz; also plays Guitar & Piano. He leads the Ensamble Erez Nataf that plays his own music,his last realise was "From Tunisia to Jerusalem". Thirty years ago, he, received a cassette containing rare and familiar liturgical poems by the Jews of Tunisia, performed by his grandfather and great-grandfather. Nataf recorded the piyutim in new arrangements with his Jerusalem ensemble. Nataf combined these piyutim with his previous projects (Red and Green Project , la4 2000, and Cafeya, fact records 1999) and now presents his unique interpretation of the rare piyutim in the album . He wrote music for many films and choreography pieces such as "Zira"/ Bat Dor 1996 , "Joy" - Israel Festival 2003) He olso gives healing music concerts for terminal and mentally ill people. In recent times he performs an average of 300 concerts a year, enlivening, exciting and impacting listeners.
